Planning Matters Alliance Tasmania (PMAT) extends a warm invitation to all our valued Alliance member groups and supporters to join us at the PMAT 2024 Annual General Meeting.

Time and date: 2pm, Saturday 24 August 2024
(feel free to arrive at 1.45pm for coffee and tea)
Venue: Kingston Beach Hall, 20 Beach Road, Kingston
(some parking is available adjacent to the Hall)
RSVP: by 19 August to planningmatterstasmania@gmail.com

Agenda: the agenda for the 2024 AGM and Minutes from the 2023 AGM are attached. The 2023-2024 financial reports will be presented on the day.

One of the highlights of our AGMs is hearing from Alliance member groups about their work undertaken in the past year around Tasmania. As you can see from the attached agenda, we have restructured the AGM this year to make this a separate session, with a break for refreshments between the formal AGM and the Alliance updates. The session will be facilitated to ensure the meeting finishes at 4pm.

Constitutional requirements
As required by our constitution, all PMAT board positions will be declared vacant at the AGM. All current PMAT board members have indicated they will be standing for re-election. Should you wish to nominate for the Board, a nomination form is available here. Nomination forms must be returned by email to the Secretary at planningmatterstasmania@gmail.com by Monday 19 August 2024.

An opportunity to connect
The PMAT AGM is a great chance to meet others with an interest in planning issues and to network with Alliance member groups from around Tasmania.

Please come along on Saturday 24 August 2024 – we would love to see you.
