How did the Legislative Council + House of Assembly vote on DAPs??

🗓️ 21 November 2024

The Liberal Government, supported by Labor, changed the standing orders of the Tasmanian Parliament so they could ram through the DAP Bill, despite it not being tabled for the required length of time. On the same day it was voted against by EVERY COUNCIL in Tasmania. Unfortunately the DAP Bill passed the Lower House. It was however welcomed that the entire cross bench did vote against the Bill.

🗓️ 29 November 2024
The DAP Bill was voted down in the Upper House! PMAT & the TCT briefed the Legislative Council. It was voted down 8 – 6. A huge win!
